Project Description:
This federally funded NEPA/CEQA project constructed a new 0.4-mile multimodal roadway extending Village Parkway to the Mike McGowan Bridge, creating a vital north-south link and alleviating traffic on Jefferson Boulevard.
Service: Noise Study Report
Solution: We conducted extensive monitoring and modeled future traffic noise at over 25 sensitive receptors using TNM 2.5, finding increases stayed below FHWA NAC despite the diversion of traffic from busier corridors.
Benefits: Our defensible analysis helped the City secure environmental clearance and federal funding to enhance connectivity and mobility while maintaining a quiet residential environment.
