Project Description:
The project introduced a high-efficiency single-tunnel car wash on a commercial infill site in Glendora, surrounded by other retail and service uses, with nearby residential receptors requiring air quality evaluation.

Solution:
We applied CalEEMod to quantify construction and operational emissions, comparing results to SCAQMD thresholds and the City’s General Plan. We also assessed odors, TACs, and regional climate consistency, recommending BMPs such as low-VOC finishes and energy-efficient equipment.
