Client: Empire Group / City of Murrieta
Project Description:
This project redeveloped a vacant parcel at Jefferson Avenue and Fig Street into a multi-use fueling station with express car wash. With homes, recreation fields, and a business park nearby, detailed noise analysis was vital to minimize conflicts.
Services Provided: Noise Impact Analysis
Solution:
Entech conducted ambient noise monitoring and applied SoundPLAN and RCNM to model noise from vacuums, carwash machinery, and traffic. We evaluated results against City noise standards and designed mitigation strategies, including equipment shielding and operational constraints, to maintain compliance.
Benefits:
Our work provided clear documentation that the project would operate within noise limits, enabling the City to approve a modern commercial amenity while protecting community peace.
