Vermont Corridor Development Plan – County of Los Angeles

Project Description:
The Vermont Corridor Plan redeveloped three County-owned sites near downtown Los Angeles into new headquarters for multiple County departments. The federally funded redevelopment sought to improve service delivery while revitalizing the urban corridor.
Service: Noise & Air Quality Constraints Analysis
Solution: We evaluated noise, vibration, and air quality against CEQA, City of LA General Plan, SCAQMD thresholds, and NAAQS/CAAQS. We identified sensitive receptors, recommended design-phase mitigations, and prepared documentation supporting environmentally responsible development.
Benefits: The County received actionable, technically defensible insights to support design and permitting, reducing risks of regulatory delays and ensuring compliance with federal and local standards.
